Holly Martinez is the Executive Director of CalEITC4me, an intensive, extensive education and outreach campaign that serves as the go-to source for innovation and information on the California Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), economically empowering Californians by helping them claiming the state and federal EITC.
Previously, Holly was Senior Director of Dewey Square Group’s Social Innovation and Philanthropy Practice and served as a lead strategist where she brought more than 15 years of public sector experience developing programs and policies that impact high-need populations.
Before working at Dewey Square, Holly served as the Director of AmeriCorps at California Volunteers’ Office of the Governor, investing in nonprofit and public entities working to address California’s challenges in education, public safety, health, human service and the environment.
Prior to this, Holly served as Chief of Staff to First Lady Maria Shriver, working to create and implement a range of programs that serve low-income families, empower women, promote service and volunteering, and address barriers of inclusion for people with special needs.
A Sacramento native, Holly graduated from California State University, Sacramento earning her BA in Communications and Public Relations. Today, Holly resides in West Sacramento with her husband, Michael Martinez and two children, Alex and Allie.
