SAN FRANCISCO—Golden State Opportunity President Amy Everitt released the following statement in response to Election Day results:

“A fair economy that works for everyone cannot be achieved in one election cycle, every election has wins and losses. But to end poverty, we need to look beyond the party lines and come together as a country to build a movement that demands a better America for all. We know Americans want to live in a nation of opportunity. That means all of our elected officials, regardless of party, need to be held accountable for creating and passing policies that lift up low-income families and individuals.”
