To highlight the last day to file 2020 tax returns–October 15–we collaborated with Central City Neighborhood Partners (CCNP) to host a tax-a-thon event to encourage people to file.

CCNP is based in Los Angeles and its services have played an invaluable role in helping the community weather the pandemic with food banks, free tax preparation, pop-up COVID-19 testing, and more. During the tax-a-thon, families came prepared with their W2s, ITINs and receipts to file their taxes with assistance from CCNP. “Our tax-a-thon with GSO was a great opportunity to raise awareness about our free tax prep services and the October 15 deadline,” said CCNP Financial Empowerment Manager Sandra Bonneville. “We helped 1,842 families file their taxes and claim their credits this tax year alone.”
