NO ONE should go hungry in California
Did you know that 1 out of every 5 Californians don’t know where their next meal will come from and 1 in 4 of California’s kids struggle with hunger? It’s simply immoral that, in the wealthiest state, in the richest country, so many people are going hungry right now.
These numbers are unacceptable and directly linked to poverty in California. While California has programs like CalFresh and the Young Child Tax Credit that help, and the federal government has goals to end hunger by 2030, the facts prove much more still needs to be done to end hunger ASAP.
Golden State Opportunity believes that no Californian should go hungry. That’s why we’re calling on our leaders in Sacramento to do everything in their power to address poverty and hunger so that every Californian can put enough food on their family’s table.
Do you believe no one deserves to worry about hunger? Then sign on and support Golden State Opportunity’s fight against poverty and hunger today. We’ll keep you posted on all our efforts to end poverty and hunger in California.
